This printmaking programme at Gainsborough’s House is a unique opportunity for young adults looking to develop their creative practice outside of formal education.
Pulling Prints is open to those not enrolled in arts education between September 2025 and April 2026, and who are keen to explore artistic development through studio practice, collaboration, and exhibition opportunities.
Sessions run on Sunday mornings during term time (with breaks over academic holidays) from 7 September 2025 to 29 March 2026.
Participants will work in the professional Gainsborough’s House Print Workshop, explore our permanent and temporary exhibitions, learn from visiting artists, and connect with a supportive peer group.
The programme will culminate in a group exhibition at the Mill Tye Gallery, including a Private View, a fantastic chance to showcase your work and build creative networks in Suffolk.
Whether you’re building a portfolio for higher education, developing new skills, or seeking experience in exhibiting your work, this programme offers a valuable platform for your creative journey.
No previous printmaking experience is required—just enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn. All materials are provided, and participation is completely free, however you must arrange your own transport.
