Our Family Music Makers sessions are designed for children and their grown-ups to explore music-making in a friendly group environment. The workshops will have the children’s voices, suggestions, and ideas at the core, with activities offering the opportunity for children to express themselves, take the lead, actively listen, make decisions, and explore memories and their imagination.
Beyond baby-and-toddler groups, so much of a young child’s experience of music-making is at school or in youth groups, and we hope to open the doors to families to bond over music-making together.
We aim to offer a relaxed, fun space that invites parents and carers to join in and play an active and supportive part in music-making activity here at Snape Maltings.
Places are free but booking is essential.
